Midwest Facial Plastics and Aesthetic Skin Care is proud to announce we have been awarded the 2009 Top Doctors Awards

How are selections made? Who gets a survey? We send a survey to 2,500 doctors and 2,500 nurses, who are randomly selected for us by the Minnesota Mailing List Service from the State of Minnesota's list of licensed physicians and nurses in the ten-county metro area. The survey is not sent to clinics, hospitals, or health care groups, but only to individuals at the addresses they have given to the licensing board.

We ask those surveyed to recommend physicians in each of seventy specialties certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties and return their survey to us in an enclosed postage-paid envelope.

Next, we tally the surveys. Physicians receiving the approximately top 15 percent of the votes in each specialty are named Top Doctors. The votes of physicians and nurses.not advertising or influence of any kind.determine who's named a Top Doctor.

Top Doctors are notified and their information is fact-checked. We have indicated whether a physician is not taking new patients or has been selected a Top doctor in at least four of the last six surveys. A "DO" after a doctor's name refers to a doctor of osteopathy, a "DPM" to a doctor of podiatric medicine.
